Agia Pelagia is a frequented tourist resort in the northern side of Heraklion (Iraklio) prefecture, close to the middle of the northern coast line of Crete.
The settlement is built amphitheatrically around a bay with lovely beaches, small coves and crystal clear waters. Nearby there are several archaeological and religious sites that are worth visiting.
